Call Center Representative
The Call Center Representative is responsible for responding to inbound calls related to information requests, appointments, and event registrations. This position also involves creating and updating events and provider profiles within the health center’s Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system, while collaborating with both employed and independent providers to ensure that all information remains accurate and up to date.
The Call Center Representative delivers excellent customer service, meets all call center performance standards, and performs a variety of administrative and clerical tasks to support daily operations. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Reports to the Call Center Supervisor and follows established organizational and departmental procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
- 1–3 years of office or customer service experience, demonstrating sound judgment, independence, and professionalism
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a courteous and thoughtful attitude
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and resolve conflicts effectively
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with office software and standard office equipment
- Previous call center experience preferred
- Healthcare or medical office experience preferred.
